I don’t think any other backflip in any other sport has been discussed more than on a motorcycle. Ever since Carey Hart crashed on landing of his backflip at Gravity Games in 2000, everyone has had their opinion on who landed the first ever back flip.

Carey Hart in 2000 or Caleb Wyatt, who actually rode away from it in 2002.

But what has been overlooked for 30 years, is the first rider to ever land the backflip which was on a RM80 by the BMX Pro rider, Jose Yanez in 1991. And then actually Bob Kohl in 1993 on a CR80.

Not only did Jose Yanez land the first ever motorcycle backflip, but he even landed the first ever BMX backflip!

And he even attempted a Moto Front Flip!!! Before he even tried a backflip!

Jason Ryan, together with Jose Yanez and their team are busy creating the all new documentary to rewrite the history books and we look forward to the movie when it comes out.
